would love to do a large trade with you. I have poets narcissus which is an old one and 2 other small narcissus that are also old all came from my mothers. I have a large yellow double daffodil and a pale yellow double. 3 colors of peonies (one is a gorgeous dark red also my Moms) purple wisteria seeds, lots and lost of iris. Drawf purple and drawf lavender. Tall yellow siberian. Just to name a few, please check out my trade page. I would love all of your drawfs and any lilies but I am game for anything that will survive in zone 5.

Hi Tracy I would love all 4 fans of your Iris versicolor (Northern Blue Flag - U.S. native) - 4 fans - a purple/blue water iris with some white and gold, 36" tall and very vigorous, blooms in early summer, full sun/part shade. I have a great variety of ferns that I would be more than willing to trade. Jean

Marianne, thanks for your reply. But I'm a bit confused. Remember that I am new to all this stuff. How do you know that my iris is not the wild one that you are looking for? It was growing "in the wild" and I'm sure had been there for many years. I'm not meaning to argue with you, but I'm trying to understand. Also found another iris in mix. Of the 200 or so that i rescued, only about 5 were this type. Would I be correct to assume that the seeds that I got from these irises may be hybrids of this one and the other one? Can you give me advice on getting the seeds to sprout. I read that it can take 2 to 3 years.
