It should work, they sprout like crazy from everywhere. Just make sure to be diligent about pruning out all the rootstock sprouts or you could come out one day and find one of the rootstock sprouts 5' off the ground (been there done that). And as Bass mentions do it in very early spring / late winter. Scott

I have some rooted ana hardy kiwi plants, M/F, some rooted gojiberry plants, a fuyu persimmon tree from which I can take cuttings and a sherwood jujube from which I can take cuttings. I would be interested in any other jujube cutting for grafting on my jujube, black mission fig cuttings for rooting, seeds for the guava, papaya, and mango and a passion flower cutting for rooting.
