Hi Mike, Send me an email. I don't have any more right now, but I do plan on getting to Solomone's nursery soon as well as a another nursery later this summer. Both have prety good yellows for good prices. I can usually find a random couple in bud/bloom at this time of year, but summer blooms are rarely as nice as spring blooms. It will at least prove it is a yellow by getting it in bud at this time, though. Blooming sized yellows are usually about $20 each from either nursery. If we are lucky to find some in bud/bloom, I will even pollinate several flowers with some of my better yellow pollens so you can enjoy some seeds in about 9-12 months. Postage varies based on location (I'm in CA) and the number of plants (=weight). Let me know what you think. I am by no means an expert, but it looks like rust which i have also had. If so, it can spread between plants. It can be treated with an insecticidal soap spray and put the plant somewhere with good ventiliation. Move plant away from others too.

I have 'Sir John Thouron'. If I had only one houseplant that would be the one, we are well suited. I keep my clivias in a room with very little heat, about 55-60 degrees. I water them once a month. The smallest one has about 10 leaves and the flower stalk is about 4" so far. They bloom only once in March, no repeats. When they bloom the stalk is at least 16", maybe more depending how big the plant is. The flower head is completely round and full with lemon yellow flowers. They have the most wonderful, delicate scent in the PM. I cut the flower stalk as soon as bloom is finished. Sir John Thouron is only propagated by division. I have trouble getting the big one out of the tub it is packed in so tightly, when I do I break off smaller ones and pot them up. They go outside under a shade tree in the Summer, I keep them potbound. I really think that people fail with clivia because they fuss with them too much. I'm sure that they develop the flower bud the previous season at lease the yellow ones do. Keep them away from the heater, don't overwater and deep them potbound.
