I have Epiphyllum ( Orchid Cactus)

I would like to make a large trade.

A flat rate box of epi cuttings from me, for a flat rate box of epi cuttings from you.

I have updated my epiphyllum have list on my member page ( under plants I have) I am looking for any varieties I do not have. I love yellow blooming and orange blooming epis the most...but, I've yet to meet an epi I didn't like.

As I am just building my collection, here are the cuttings I have available for trade:

And of course...what epi grower doesn't have hs or her fair share of noid's? lol

I have a Tequilla Sunrise and a Tarantula I could take a cutting from if you have something I really really want. lol

Not that I am an obnoxious epi person or anything..but, just so you know..... All my epi's are grwon in a greenhouse. I use a soiless mix of 1 part AV soil, 1 part Perlite and 1 part Vermiculite.

I water once weekly ( it's hot here) alternating weeks with rainwater, and then a mix of either azalea fertilizer or a mix of beer/amonia/epsom salt.

I have kept records of the few places I've received my plants from, and I can provide you with this information if you would like it upon our trade.

I say that because I've had two of my plants actually bloom for me thus far...my Strictum and my Ackermanii....the others have been purchased as either cuttings or rooted plants from repatable sellers.

I don't want to do a small trade....I'd like to do one big trade...one for one..meaning...if you want 15 of mine..I will want 15 of yours.

I'll ship priority mail with delivery confirmation, and will want you to do the same.

I also have spiral leaf epi that is rooting cuttings to trade also.

I would like this hibiscus. I've never seen anything like that before. Very nice. I have other hibiscus, too, but nothing like that. I have epiphyllum (orchid cactus) to trade. They have large blooms in May. If you're interested, I'll send you some pictures of them if you're interested in a trade. Several colors since the seeds were cross polinated. You don't know what you'll get until they bloom.

Yes! I just purchased this from randy's tropical plants. Yes it comes as a little stub, but it was very healthy, and he has a few colors to pick from. I picked what i thought was the nicest... http://buyraretropicalplants.com/product/epiphyllum-showboat/ Oh.. Guess the name changed to buy rare tropical plants... He really does have alot of rare looking plants, you should check it out. Oh and according to his site, the buds form in spring but it doesnt say when it blooms.

I think I have an Epiphyllum. It sort of resembles a Christmas Cactus, but he leaves are not segmented, and are twisted. It had yellow blooms at the ends of a 'stem', and now has round pink bulbus growth where the bloom was. Is this an Epiphyllum?
I also have another plant I cannot identify and any help would be appreciated. It has segmented leaves like CC but they are LARGE. (3 1/2 X 5 inches) When it blooms it has tiny little pale yellow blooms at each point all around the leaf, not just at the end. If this isn't the place to find this info, please direct me to the correct forum.

Judy the first plant sounds like it could be epiphyllum guatemalense Monstrosa and the second plant you described sounds like a Pseudorhipsalis. The pink bulbous growth is the fruit. It will be completely pink and beginning to soften when ripe.

Hi Cannadoit,
I will do a large trade for this. I have Epi. chrysocardium, E. oxypetalum and another Epi and I do not the name of specie and cultivar name. It was given to me by a friend of mine. It has soft pink flower.
I'm interested on the 4 specie/cultivars:
E. hermosissimosus
E. hocus pocus
E. ric rac
E. guatamalenese (twist)
