I am looking for fig cuttings: chicago hardy, Sal, Verte, and I have: Alma, Mission fig cutting, thanks Wendy

I saw ixora today at Phipps conservatory and loved it. Can it be rooted easily from cuttings? and can it be a houseplant? I'm looking for one of the dwarf varieties. I'd prefer already rooted, but will consider cuttings if they root easily. I especially like the soft yellow. Don't go by what's listed on my trade page. I don't have most of my plants listed there. If you have some to trade let me know what your interests are I'll send you a list of what I have. Angela

Hector Black of Hidden Springs Nursery spent decades developing "Brilliant Rose" Autumn olive. From what I have heard tell it is the best all around Autumn olive for fruit. Hidden Springs is no longer allowed to sell or even give away the plants due to a state ban on the sale of Autumn olive. The only other nursery in the world selling it, to my knowledge, is agroforest in the UK, but they cannot ship to the US. Does anyone out there have a "Brilliant Rose" that they would be willing and able to send me a cutting of? I would be willing to pay for it - price to be decided through email conversation.

Just go for it. Start out with some easy flowering plants that are suitable for your growing area. There are lots of resources of the web for what will grow where when. Just go your hands dirty, it'll feel great. cheers - Kim
