My Garden part 2

Well being a new gardener (this is my second year). I thought I would post a link to photobucket so y'all could take a look at some of it and let me know what you think. If you need any pictures to give a better opinion let me know as I would be happy to take them. As I am new I REALLY am looking for honest opinions of what you think I am doing right and also what you think I am doing wrong.....thanx Pete.

I will take more pictures as the year goes and will repost for more opinions.

Looks awesome! Gotta say I'm pretty jealous of all that space you have. want to send me a salad? Lol that broccoli and lettuce looks delicious :)

OTG- thank you for your input- I already told the DR that I won't have cortisone shots- but I'm looking into Prolotherapy or sclerotherapy. It is an inflammatory therapy which involves the injection of a known irritant, usually glucose or sodium morrhuate, into a ligament, tendon or joint. This will cause irritation of that joint for the purpose of improving the tensile strength of ligaments. Inflammation is produced in order to stimulate the formation of fibrous connective tissue which will bring about healing of that ligament or deficient structure. Prolotherapy was originally evolved by Dr. George Hackett, M.D., in Kenton, Ohio, back in the 1940s and 50s, although you can trace its origins back to the ancient Greeks. You will find references to it in medical literature under various names including sclerotherapy, prolotherapy, or proliferant therapy. More recently, it has been called non-surgical joint reconstruction, coined by Dr. William Faber, D.O., from the Milwaukee Pain Clinic, Milwaukee, Ohio. These terms are used interchangeably. It has been around for a long time and have tested it, and know the results are reliable. I explained this treatment to my Dr who has never heard of it before!

Oh come on!!!! Those are just TOO beautiful!!! Memorial Day is stunning!!! And one of the blooms has stripes??? That's amazing! Do you have a sport?? Neil Diamond is gorgeous!!!! Please say it has fabulous scent!!! I want it!!! Oh my goodness!!!! Peter Mayle is lovely - mine gets about 4 1/2 feet in it's pot - how big does yours get? Love your Pope John Paul II - such a lot of flowers - I'd love to take a whiff of those!! Your Rock & Roll is wonderful - what a great rose! William Shakespeare 2000 looks great - the stems are strong enough to hold up the blooms. Wow! Carol - in love with your roses!!

WOW!!! This is amazing and so creative!!! The castle is perfect and looks so gorgeous in the colors that you chose. Do you know if real fairies ever visit? :-) Have you seen the tutorials on making fairy gardens with broken pots? These are stunning too and have a similar feel as yours. Mar, your client will love Ballerina'! a2zmom, I'd planted this years ago and only recently could fin the name--searched for years--never saw it for sale till a couple of months ago and got more. I knew it was a Eupatorium but that's all. I though the name had the word *rainbow* in it but I guess not! It's so well behaved anf the foliage is superb. gumper97,thank you! The yellow flower is Lysimachia punctata (Z4-8) but it comes with a warning--it travels by runners. The silvery blue grass is Elymus magellanicus (Z5-8)--it's color is sort of otherworldly to me!

Thanx Rathos I am looking forward to the picking, I THINK.

Bama the Buttercrunch is starting to bolt so your more than welcome to come grab one or two. Its not as much space as you might think, the garden takes up most of the backyard. Cleo my dachshund is somewhat pissed at me about that,but mittens the cat loves it as it gives him more places to hide and attack Cleo, which may be why she's mad.

Its starting to feel more like springtime with the smell of the tomato plants in the air.

I picked my first green beans this morning. Can't wait to see how that ramps up now with the steady warmer temps. Saw a few baby zucchini and itty bitty cucumbers.

That looks terrific! I need to have more discipline about thinning so that my lettuce ends up nice and full like yours. How come your broccoli isn't "wormy"? I only grew it once...the cabbage worms were too icky!

Your probably right it is getting pretty warm. I will probably pull it next week as I think I've got about all I can from them. I also have some more tomato plants that I have kept up sizing into bigger pots and I have run out of bigger ones...LOL.

Donna I don't have a clue, just dumb luck I guess. I could pretend that I know what I'm doing, but the truth is I have just enough knowledge to be DANGEROUS.

My beans have started kicking in and I have picked 4 containers full so far. I picked One Sweet Slice cucumber,a small zucchini and a couple of small onions. Had to pull my Buttercrucnh lettuce as it was bolting and some of the red sails also. The rest of the is starting to bolt so that will pulled up soon. Pulled up my spinach as it was starting to look funny (guess from the heat). Pulled up the Broccoli as the heat seemed to be getting to it and I think I got most of the heads and Florettes. Put most of my baby pepper plants in only have some sweet banana peppers left to go.
