have holiday cactus

have some rooted cuttings i,d like to trade for other house plants , maybe variegted jade , variegated holiday cactus , or variegated elphant plant , these ones are not a must , just some i really like .

Which holiday cactus do you have christmas, thanksgiving or easter? Also what color blooms?

Oh hi prayerrock, i believe they are both Christmas and thanksgiving , as for the color , i know i have salmon/white , pink/white , red/white and purple , dont know what color you would get as these are starts that got brook of when we were moving , they are all nice size starts .

Hi Pam, thanks. I changed my preferences to show my addy to members. It had alread been set up to allow the emails to be sent through this site, and then if I (or any given member) reply a person gets the email address, and I get theirs if they reply. Not sure if you knew that -- just click on the My Page for anyone (or their screen name), and click Send Me An Email right next to See My Trade List. Actually I was surprised that you posted a response here rather than doing it that way (I chanced on it, it doesn't notify anyone other than the person who started the thread). I went with this way to reduce email address "robot harvesting" since they display the email addy as text not an image. So We'll if there's an increase in spam with this new setting. Confused Thanksgiving cactus. . .

I have 3 TG cacti and they all bloom at least a couple times a year - usually around Christmas and Feb/March - although they never bloom together. One'll bloom, then another, then the last, then the first will start up again. It's kind of entertaining really. They're all in the same spot and get no kind of special care at all. Right now my oldest - the first one to usually start budding - is budding up again now after it's Christmas display. It's has lovely white flowers with an ever so slightly pink centre. It's become a little tradition if you will, of mine every year to find a TG cactus - of course always mislabeled CC cactus - with different colored flowers than the ones I already have. I find it fun and exciting. Guess eventually though I'll run out of colors to find.

That is why I asked..christmas and thanksgiving cactus are NOT the same thing. Here is a link to show you the differance.

well it looks as though all mine are thanksgiving type, and a couple little starts of the easter cactus . SORRY
