I'm not interested in a trade but had a question about your Ochna serrulata. How long did it take yours to reach blooming size? I have a couple, the oldest is almost 3 years and 18" tall but I haven't had any blooms yet.

It took about 5,6 years, mine is tall 4'. Keep it COOL in winter, sunny place, little water, then at the end of January,
I will take off the old leafs as much as I can, then I start water it with blooming booster fertilizer (seems odd, but that is tradition Vietnamese to make it flower in Feb. New year)
Ochna serrulata is very strong, hard to kill, I have another plant, same family, but not produce the red flower, more diff. to grow in pot here in NC.

Suetran, aren't you stilllllll popular,, its cause you have such good plants. i have cuttings of austriais hoya; baby lucnosa hoya[rooted] or obeta hoya; or zig zag epi; to trade for your orchid jewel & seeds for your wrightia religiosa. two cuttings for both. plmk,thanks ahead,molly
