hi falldaisies =) i am guessing this is directed at me, and you want me to change the blurb beside your name? its hard to fit too much info in there, if you would summarize some general wants ...or what you want you want the blurb to say- i can edit it. it is best if its short and sweet, just a general idea of what you want. right now yours says - falldaisies zone 6 (flowering bulbs, artichokes & blueberries dwarf fruit trees indoors/citrus) if theres something else you want me to write there, let me know, but lets keep it short. then have you figured out how to edit your "seeds wanted" list? thats the place for all the specifics. just list everything that you want there, then when someone goes to your page they can read all that. its good to have a nice long want list, so dont be shy about listing everything, often times people will look over it and might even surprise you with extras from your want list. GW is not very intuitive with its layout, but at the bottom of every page theres a large grey area with many links. click on "member pages" and then edit your exchange list...from that page you can edit all your info and fill out your have and want lists.

Hi everyone. Peppers: Leave them alone. I used to hve trouble with them too and then last year I planted a zillion b/c I always have so much trouble with bell peppers. Well, I did not amend the soil this year and I really did not water as often. I think the biggie is that before I treated them like my tomatoes. I watered the same and fed the same. Last year it dawned on me that these are a southwest native. In other words, they LIKE a lot of heat and can be on the dry side. Let them be. Esp. if you are getting lots of lush foliage but not fruit. This means you are feeding too much or the bed is too rich. This was m exp. last year and when I planted zillions, I did not need that many. I still have baggies in the freezer of them. Carrots. I have trouble with them too. I can gro beats and radishes like a magazine picture. But for some reason my carrots don't tend to do much of anything. Last year I actually had long skinny root but they did not grow like supposed to. But that was better than previous years when they sprouted nd then went kaput.

Hi - I would like to trade the following tropical plants and others : 1. variegated / '' canna tropicanna'' - dark leaf canna, interesting foliage and dark orange flowers for sun. 2. tall bearded iris mixed- 3 colors - yellow, fragrant purple, white, for sun. 3. daylilys - bright, lovely peach colored flowers, for sun. 4. variegated vinca vine - green with cream edged leaves and blue flowers , for shade. 5. bog iris - tall green sword type foliage and yellow flowers, for sun. 6. brug - large leaves with tropical , fragrant pink flowers, for sun. 7. creeping sedum- small, succulent neon green leaves and small yellow flowers,for sun. 8. jewel of opar - bright green succulent leaves and pink star shaped flowers, for sun. 9. hibiscus tropical - this will be cuttings - has huge fabulous red flowers, for sun. These plants are mature and heavy - and will be shipped flat rate. The box, will be full. Also, there will be some ''surprise extras'' included. I ,would like the same in return - unless you are offering something ''really special.'' I ship , priority with delivery confirmation and would expect the same.
