WANTED: Wandering jew cuttings

I would love to have a wandering jew cutting. I have a select few things to trade, I'm new to this so I don't have an abundance of plants yet. I have
citronella geranium,
aloe Vera,
another succulent that I was told was a mexican firecracker,
and Christmas cactus-dark pink flowers.

I have a purple wandering jew that fell the other day and I have broken pieces everywhere - I'd be happy to send you clippings for a cutting of your christmas cactus

monkeymama: I have a very healthy large wandering jew plant & would be happy to trade you a cutting off it. I do not know how to take a cutting off it though (how many nodes are required, etc.). Thanks guys. SummerS, that's a dangerous site for me to wander about unsupervised! Luckily, their shopping is too expensive or I'd have shards time controlling my impulse to buy more plants. What a selection! Christy, that'd be awesome if your friends had enough to spare. I'm familiar with the purple/mauve variety, so it'd probably be the better one to use, but I think all wandering Jews are similar, fast-growing, easy care, so either variety would be fine. I'd just be glad to have something. The nurseries around here are also all telling me they could've hooked me up a month ago, but they've cleaned out all their delicate plants to make room for bulbs. I might try a package of coleus seeds too, just to see. I think they're only a couple dollars.

The cuttings should have been/must be diped in a solution of dilute chlorox..... The fungus most likely contaminated the cuttings. Smaller cuttings can be rooted if use 0.1% IBA (rooting hormone) stick in soil & mist. Keep the rooted cuttings in GOOD light, keep moist, & lightly fertilize lightly every 2 weeks This will promote new growth & have more material to propagate later.

I have a purple and green leaved variety. I also have some T. zabrina. I'd exchange either/both for some of your aloe and geranium. Let me know if you'd be interested.

hello! i was looking for some wandering jew myself, just not the kind i already have, and came upon your post. are you still interested in trading? i am attaching a photo to show you what my wandering jew looks like. it's verigated silver/purple/green, very pretty! i have a ton of it!
is your cintronella plant used to keep bugs away? if so, i'd be very interested in trading for some, and also some aloe if you would like to do more.
