There are several common kinds of bush honeysuckle, most of which are foreign invasives, including the spring-blooming one that smells like lemon pie, Lonicera fragrantissima. I grew up with it, but that doesn't mean it won't take over your yard. If you are willing to take a vine, Lonicera sempervirens is an East-coast native American honeysuckle with bright-tangerine blossoms the hummers love. I have Double Angel Trumpet seeds from the Bahamas. It grows quickly into a beautiful plant but you will have to keep it inside in the winter here in Michigan. The color is purple on the outside and white on the inside. Let me know as I am up on Lake St. Clair.
