I agree w/ cousin, any help from the shade would probably be very marginal. I have one peach tree in winter shade and it doesn't bloom any later than the others. I once read a research article that spraying a whole peach tree with a diluted mix of white latex paint delayed bloom by one week. I've never tried it because of too many trees. If you have just a few trees on the north side of your buildings, it might be worth the effort.

Thanks, Mantis...No, Inca Prince always just tops the foliage here...wish it was taller, but really like the blooms. I was afraid I was going to lose Salty Skipper but it has increased a fan and ut up three scapes but I snapped one s I don't want to lose it. Robed In Majesty seems to be happier where it is now. David, you are right. that is my Bob Marley. Now to figure out what the red is...more hunting. Thank you for the kick in the pants...I had gotten rid of Bohemian Rhapsody because I didn't like the bloom and being a differnet plnt, it would look different....I guess my getting the autoimmune hepatitis affected me more than I realized last August...I still haven't found Barbra Mandrell...I do have one that hasn't bloomed yet, so hping. Avedon...Bob Marley is doing fine here....I may move Flaming flamingo one more time since no one has grabbed it yet. Brad, I am taking photos of Pigment of Imagination at several points of the day.
