items for my chickens

orchid supplies

Not sure if they can take full sun like Cannas do, so I'll be keeping them in a shadier spot and keep them mulched and watered. do you grow them or know people that do?

I've got one in the ground in a spot that gets an hour or two of morning sun and then shade for the rest of the day. It gets once per week irrigation. It has grown nice, thick and lush, but not out of control. It's about 5' tall. I wouldn't really call it a hedge plant because the stalks tend to lean out away from the rhizome. While the area where the stalks come out of the ground is only about a foot or two in diameter, the stalks lean out and cover and area about 8' in diameter. John
