Have tons of plants to swap

Hi, beds are overflowing with lambs ears, various daylillies, named hostas, buttercups, sedums frosty morn and varigated, lilac colored flowers on sedums, pink iris, orange iris, mini daffs, double daffs, peonies.

Right now the ground is still covered with around 12-18" of snow. However, I have Stella d'Oro daylilies.. loads of those to trade. I also have a white and a purple siberian iris I can take sizable divisions of. Lastly, I have an unknown variety of daylily that has scapes that rise around 36-48", with red/orange flowers and a vestigial double petal inside. I have another daylily, of unknown origin that is smallish like Stella, but has a more orange coloration Sorry, but I have never been good with maintaining names for plants, and, to be honest, several of these were given to me by friends and family, and they didn't know the names. I am looking for echinacea, comfrey, hardy geranium, lavender, asters, mint, irises, lilies(daylilies), hosta. Sorry my selection is so small. I'm slowly working on enhancing my selections and I should have some spring bulbs available in late summer/fall if the many bulbs I planted last fall perform well.

I just tried to e-mail you twice-came right back-so I will do it this way...here is my letter... How about we do this...I will send you a flat rate box of the columbine plants (they are small so there will be many) and I will also send you some seeds of all three-just in case some of the plants are mostly one color-and some other seeds that I have plenty of-and you can send me a box of your yarrow (all I have is yellow) and some tulips or whatever you feel you can trade. No pressure, just whatever you can trade will work for me-I was going to dig them up anyway :o)

Got in at 1:30am Sunday so we really did miss the get-together by a mile. So how did it all go, folks? Although I got to see some nice wildflowers along the highways of western and northwestern US, it was certainly nothing like what was to be found at Kat's place... will definitely have to schedule vacation time around next year's hootenanny. ;-) And while I was gone the crabgrass had a grand time moving in across my unfinished beds. :-P Oh well, something to do for the rest of the summer, right? ;-) I did save some seeds of an unknown wildflower/weed in South Dakota; it was the only thing with set seed that I could find. I'll let you know if I ever learn what it is. Looking forward to hearing how it went. Did everything I donated find homes? :-) Terri

I'm interested in any and all of the sedums and any yellow or blue hosta. My trade list is pretty up to date if you want to see if there is something you desire.

Hi there:

I'm interested in your hostas (esp blues, huge leaves or mostly yellows--don't esp care about the names), sedums frosty morn and varigated.

I have:
Nelly Moser Clematis cutting (huge bicolor purple)
*Kerria Rose (cutting)small yellow flower, carefree
*Fairy Rose (cutting) Easy, blooms twice, carefree
*Viburnum (cutting)
*Curly Willow (few rooted, more, but limited, unrooted)
*Pyracantha (cuttings): Good for bonsai because they are easy to train and very pliable. Grow in any kind of soil (at least mine was the worst and it's thriving!) White flowers in clusters. They are evergreen and have really beautiful fall/winter orange berries that attract birds.
Plants:
*Red Bee Balm Monarda
*Gooseneck Loosestrife(Plants). The technical name Lysimachia clethroides.60 cm (24") in height; pure white large goosenecks; blooms July through September
Coldest Zone: 4 .

*Purple Wild Violet (Plants and rhizomes).Good for woodland gardens, shade, ground cover.

*False lamium, yellow flower, good ground cover

*Variegated Vinca Vine, good ground cover, purple flower.
