How often are you watering and how much are you applying? You'll want to water deeply but infrequently. This time of year once or twice a week should be adequate as long as the water is soaking down to two feet into the soil. A rule of thumb would be to apply about 6 - 8 gallons of water per vine each time you irrigate. Don't use malathion. It kills beneficials insects as well as pests and you wouldn't want to eat the fruit after applying it. Instead use a product that contains Bacillus thuringensis or "Bt", a bacteria for caterpillar control. It only kills caterpillars and is safe for humans, birds, and fish. The caterpillars are the larval form of a small, skinny black moth. When you see the adults, its time to spray. Bt is the active ingredient in Thuricide and several other products. I'm not a candidate for trades because we already have a vineyard (wine grapes) and don't have any of those fruits you want. It sounds like your vines are going to bring a good harvest. If they are seedless, they can be frozen and used as ice cubes to chill wine and also eaten fresh. Wine grapes are very sweet when ripe. They make sweet juices and jams and jellies. Because they are so sweet, the sugar in them feeds the yeast and becomes alcohol. Seedless grapes are not sweet enough to make wine usually. If you are crafty, you can cut the vigorous vines when they are green and flexible, and make some wreaths with the long canes. Just be sure to leave enough buds for next years crop. She looks like she's happily settled in already. Every time I mention roses, my husband rolls his eyes and goes through the litany ("Black spot, rust, powdery mildew, deer...."). I have a Rosa alba Maxima and it's growing quite happily. I want a couple of the hardier David Austin roses. As he chants his litany, I look at his 27 (I think) grape vines, in their fenced enclosure with its drip system and think, "You know, that'd be a great spot for roses...." You have lived my dream, Adam! ;)

If there are roots, that is good. I think I would be inclined to plant it, or pot it. How long are the roots? Are they healthy looking? Cuttings that produce leaves are often described as having produced roots too, but this is not necessarily true. Many times I have checked cuttings with leaves only to find that they were pretending to have roots. Hopefully this cutting will thrive. Do you have a picture of it?
