Annabelle Hydrangea & lilac cuttings for? see list

Hi,

I am looking for a few cuttings from Annabelle Hydrangea, and president lincoln lilacs, Mount baker lilacs and Maiden's blush lilacs, I'm willing to trade for some of my seedlings (in some weeks when they are bigger) OR If you are local (in connecticut) I have a bunch of different Hostas (mature) that I'd be willing to give you when they come up since I am replacing them with different plants (expanding the beds)

My seedlings which are growing now (sprouted and getting bigger) Hacksaw hosta offspring, Blue hosta offspring, Pink foxglove, Blue Fescue grass, White Balloonflowers, Achillea (pink variety) and waiting to sprout - red clementine columbine, MORE hostas LOL, red fountain grass, Varigated japanese grass, rubber centanthrus, larkspur delphiniums (magic fountain cherry), both red and pink variety Astilbes. I also have Nikko Blue hydrangeas and christine red azaleas, pee gee hydrangeas that I can give cuttings of as well.

I'm willing to be very generous as long as it's for the specific named varities listed above.

How many of those mature hostas do you think you could cram into a flat-rate PO box? I wonder if I could afford to pay shipping on a bunch...Hummmm.

the mature hostas are very large and I'm thinking it would be very pricey. The last one I moved had to be at least 30 lbs with all the dirt on the roots. If your local or willing to drive over I would be happy to give them to you, but to mail these would run alot.

I never saw so many caterpillars, Anita! If it isn't one kind it's another. The birds are having a feast and I've never seen Orioles in my yard so much. Yes, I'm going to have to start visiting my roses a couple of times a day trying to find the culprits on those. I haven't looked closely at all the leaves that have these rolled up 'suites' in them so I'm not sure if there are flower buds in them or not. I'll have to go over it good tomorrow. Thanks Anita!

What zone are you in ditas? I am in zone 6a and none of my plants get a burlap winter coat. I try to get low maintenance as often as I can. I have a couple of evergreens, that I try to tie with string in the fall so they don't split with the weight of snow, but that's it. I have tried to only buy Hydrangeas that bloom on new wood. And even then, and in my zone 6a, I still have years when I get very few blooms on my hydrangeas. I bought a "Little Lime" last year and that is supposed to stay compact, have large blooms and is one of the paniculatas that are hardier and take more sun. I have a lot of part shade in my yard and I end up being dry a lot of the season, because of a lot of tree roots around my property. The 'Little Lime' is very young and I'm not sure if it will bloom this year or not. I don't think I am ideal for Hydrangeas as much as I love them. This year, I've finally understood that there is no such thing as 'low maintenance' though. [g]. As much as I take low maintenance into consideration when I choose plants, trying to keep a garden looking good, is a LOT of work. And I only have a small property. Sounds like you have a huge collection of Hydrangeas! That bloom for you! I'm sure you are enjoying them!

Looking for dappled willow or hydrangea limelight or any white hydrangea. I got pink and blue hydrangeas to trade. Blue is endless summer I think. Also have iris, mock orange, double day lilies, Cecile brunner rose, lobelia cardinalis, black eyed Susan's, catmint, lavender Munstead etc. cuttings not rooted, unknown sedum, unknown honeysuckle, peonies etc.
