Looking for some large spring trades- April

I have alot of woodland as many of you know that have traded with me in the past. I would like to trade for named daylily or at least see pictures of them to make sure I dont have already. I have hundreds of christmas ferns, sensative ferns, pawpaw trees, tulip trees, sassafras trees, dogtooth violets ( white and yellow), huge white trillium, ect. ect. Please see my list for a complete listing. I am also open to almost anything I dont have. Would love to have somemore hostas.

Have several daylily seedlings from my hybridizing program to trade, also could let go of some hostas. Are we neighbors?
I have a website at www.picturetrail.com search for naturesedge.
Seedlings are from last years crop that are still in the field, mostly lavenders and some really good reds.

I think that I DID run the car over the V. opulus - great way to divide the plant! One of mine was a pup off an established shrub that had gotten in the way of a hose bibb and I had someone dig it out and he didn't know what to do with it so he left it sitting off the driveway (on soil) and about six months later when I got around to moving it to the compost pile, it had rooted in! You're dead right about zonal imbalances (like hormonal imbalances?) and no one should be shipping plants around once it warms up. I just explained our planting timing by way of illustration because it is so different than the majority of the country, and even zone 9 doesn't really explain what it's like here because we have so much ocean influence. We run in the high 70's/low 80's in summer with ocean breeze so your'e right, we don't have temps in the 90s unless it is a heat wave. So the best way to describe our weather is 'mild', which really doesn't describe any of the weather in z5,6,7,etc. We'll hope that PF finds the V. o. r. and yes, John, your wife will just love those flowers. They are pretty gorgeous when they first come out and they are that lovely shade of lime green. All this rapture about such a weedy shrub, but isn't it nice that we can find love in all the wrong places?

I would love to get a white dogtooth violet from you. I know we traded last year, so I may not have anything you would like. I won't know for a while just what daylilies I will have available to trade, definitely will have Autumn Red, Autumn Minaret, Catherine Woodbury, Crimson Pirate, Burning Daylight, Little Grapette, Dumortieri, Eenie Allegro, Happy Returns, Little Audrey. I might be interested in others, but I don't see your list either.

i was looking for a pawpaw tree, every year i buy a couple from burguess and i have never got a leaf from it.

Hi! Tracyl,
I just found your post, and I did send you an e-mail a couple days ago. I was hunting for my trade from 2006, so that I could see if you had any wildflowers. Today I found your post and was happy to see you do have some wildflowers.
We had an inch of snow last night and our high today was 37, so we have nothing up yet.
We have daylilies, hostas, and other perennials. Let me know if you have any Hapatica? The others you mentioned I would be interested in. Thanks.

HI, would be interested in ferns, trilliums etc. We are moving to place with wooded area. Will have daylilies etc. when the snow is gone. Hopefully, the tags will be intact,
tough year with 100+ inches of snow/ice.

I couldnÂt find your trade list either on your page. Unless you meant what is mentioned in your first post above? I would like some ferns. My list is on my page. I donÂt have many named daylilies (mostly ones bought from a breeder 5 years ago: beautiful but nameless!), but I do have pictures if you are interested. I have other perennials listed.

interested in some paw paw,,as soon as weather warms up shoul have mix color antique iris,,,rooted pussy willow,,,obedient flower,,lavender french hollyhocks,,perenninal sun flower ...let me know GOD BLESS..

I would love some pawpaw, tulip tree, sassafras tree, maybe dogtooth violet. Couldn't find your list, but I have white wisteria, amaryllis, un-named daylily and iris, bridal wreath. Let me know if you see anything you would like for a trade.
