wanted: have: trilliums.

Hello everyone!

I have trilliums that have been grown out from a single plant taken from the woods nearly 20 years ago. They grow well in shade, and the bulbs are large and mature (I also have smaller ones as well). I have many, and would be interested in several trades to put a dent in my NEW yard (completely barren and empty).

I am looking for the following: Grape Cuttings, Blueberry Plants, paw paw seedlings, sassafras seeds or plants, fig cuttings, bamboos (timber or large types), raspberry plants, mulberry cuttings, elderberry cuttings, hostas and daylillies and any other fruit tree or bush that you can think of.

What species of trillium do you have? I am looking for the ones which are native to the West. Although I only have cuttings of mulberry among the things you specifically mention, I have a number of other desireable plants for trade and would very much appreciate hearing from you.

prhart, I don't have any shooting star extra for trading, but was wondering if you might want/need some trillium recurvatum. I seldom see it listed for trading. Note the sepals that are turned down...thus a recurvatum. I rec your email concerning tulips too...and will go reply now...thanks! Sally, I should have Trilliums to share. My original plant was rescued during road construction somewhere in western NC. I have divided it several times and still have the original in pots. It is Trillium cuneatum or 'Little Sweet Betsy' with mottled leaves and a maroon red flower. If they survived last summer's drought, they should be coming up any day now. Hi...I do have some small evergreen huckleberry plants (these are vaccinium ovatum I think)to trade but can't say if they would live there or not.
