Self seeding plants

In my vegetable garden, I have beds that I know I want to manage intensively by rotating crops, using green manures, perhaps get creative with the design of the plantings. There are other areas that I would like to grow things that I can allow to self seed. What plants are good candidates for this? Are any special varieties better suited for this than others? If my bed is deep enough, could this work in front of blackberries?

Some candidates I have considered are cilantro, parsley, chamomile and chard but I am willing to look at others. While I am a zone 6, I have a somewhat short season (last frost averages May 15th, first frost can be as early as October 15th) and my climate is on the dry side. Thank you for any help.
