first time owner of new guinea impatiens

v1rt

I was at HD today. I got attracted to new guinea impatiens so I bought it. It's now in front of my porch which is facing east. It should get 4 to 6 hours of morning sun only.

It's my first time to own this annual. I don't have any knowledge on how to take care of it. I would like to keep it so next year, I can bring it out again. I also would like to propagate it but don't know which method is best. I was thinking of cutting then putting them in water. This way, I don't have to buy rooting hormone which allows me to save more money.

Going back to caring, I have a soluble all purpose Miracle gro fertilizer. Can I apply it now?

About blooming, I want it to bloom until fall if it's possible. Will they do that? Do we need to deadhead them so it makes more blooms?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
