P.saundersi has slowed..many,many,branches held very tight and close to the trunk.Might need more water than I thought. P.bispinosum flowered in January and again a couple of months ago. It too,seems to have slowed. Cool weather? rooting in? I put in ground the Opy,its just got a nice leafing out.Planting D.Gigas where it became too shady was almost fatal.Oh,it was close. Give them full sun they do fine and steady.If I had waited just days more to pull it out-the whole plant would have done an Adenium like fast collapse.The C.bansaii leafed,but not an explosion..I did think more would push out.Again,cool weather? Hey,Keith-didnt mean to put you on the spot.

Serge, don't be afraid to try to espalier your citrus trees. You'll need to move your trellis much closer to both trees. Don't worry if your trees are not severely espaliered, but focus on light pruning of branches that are growing outward towards the driveway or towards the trellis, pruning those branches down to the trunk (but not into the branch collar). That should leave you with branches just growing to the left and right of the trunk. I would also try contacting someone from your local Master Gardener's organization or from your local California Rare Fruit Growers to see if they have an expert on espaliering fruit trees to give you a hand to get started. It is actually very easy with citrus, they are very forgiving, and you don't have to make them severely espaliered. Just make sure your trellis's are well anchored to support your trees. I've included a photo that gives you a very good idea of how you want to position your trellis as well as how to secure it. And, how it should look espaliered. This tree was probably much smaller when it was started, but you can still prune yours to the trellis without much difficulty. Your trees look great, btw! Patty S. Go out late one night and remove a 3 inch tall section of bark all the way around the trunk shaped like a belt around it's waist? There will be no seeds next year for sure! Just don't get caught!

As others have mentioned, a professional detailing. You might want to check with some of the smaller car lots in your area to see who they use. A full detailing includes the exterior and interior, so just the interior should be cheaper. If you want to do it yourself, ones of those "Little Green Clean Machines" works well but expect to invest several hours. If you don't have one, you can use a shop vac that can suck water. Buy some carpet cleaning solution (both general cleaning and spot cleaning), apply it with a squirt bottle, scrub it in, and suck it back up. Use the same solution/method on the upholstery. Carpeted floor liners can just be pulled out, cleaned, hosed off, and hung to dry. It's less of a problem this time of the year but make sure the carpet is fully dry before you close up the windows. In winter, I've seen car interiors get some really funky smells because the carpet wasn't fully dry.
