Fabric/plastic containers

Hi, everyone -- Anyone have any experience in using the round fabric type "smart" containers?? They seem to come in all sizes, on-line. I have also found a site which offers plasticized-fabric pots available. I think these were originally intended for tree nurseries. Apparently you can grow tomatoes and other vegetables in these pots if they are large enough. I think they are rather expensive I and would like some feed-back about more than one-time use before I invest in big enough containers to grow my tomatoes in. Seems like a wonderful idea though and pot storage is just fold-up, I guess, in the winter.

Just a thought -- could you take the large 30# poly-plastic cat litter bag (bright yellow) and turn it inside out to the white side and use that for a planter, maybe against a fence? It could be cut off at any height and holes punched for drainage.

Thanks for any feed-back-

Sunny
