Well, the bulbs are all in, swapped, and on their way back out! We had a really good variety this year, even with only 9 participants, and they all looked really healthy as well! I hope everyone got something that they will really enjoy this coming year. And I hope the weather holds out long enough to plant! Please let me know that you've received your package back, and I hope we get even more participants in the Spring. We will have another swap in the Spring. It will be for bulbs that are to be planted in the Spring, and bloom in the Summer/Fall. Examples are: Gladiolus, Dahlia, Daylily, Begonia, Calla Lilly, Crocosmia, Hosta, Astible, Phlox, Heuchera, Fall Crocus, Lily, etc. Please consider participating if you have extra bulbs from shopping, or extras to divide . . .

Hi Bette, If you are talking about tall bearded iris rhizomes, they must be in the ground about six weeks before the first hard frost. Otherwise you are better off waiting until spring and buying plants in flower at the nursery if you want blooms. I don't know your climate, but I would imagine it is too late this year. Iris usually bloom the spring after they are planted. Renee

I would like it if we all could get together here, and make up a special gift box for Heather, and her daughters Cheryl and Kelsey.
