I have some from Chem-Dry, which says it can be used on upholstery also, after testing it in a hidden area. (BTW, I still have a half-bottle of Aero Spot Remover, which is trichloroethylene, but I'm keeping it. LOL) How to Purchase Dry Cleaning Solvent for Upholstery Cleaning 1. Upholstery, such as the fabric used on couches, loveseats, chairs and recliners, can be tricky when it comes to removing stains, residue or marks on the fabric surface. I think it looks lovely. Really like the roses. I don't see that it looks cloudy at all--just put it where it can dry really well and maybe then it will look clear to you. Are you doing one stroke flowers? They are fun, aren't they? I wanted to mention to you a tip that Painting Fool gave us about using the gold paint pens on edges and along sides of projects. You might look back at some of her projects here to see it. I think that might be a nice finishing touch on the edges and between the gray and black on the side of your stool. I would like a stripe, I think, rather than a floral that competes with the needlepoint. Hard to tell for sure about this one, but I think it pulls the colors from the needlepoint, the couch and the wall, with just an occasional black stripe in it. You could then trim it out with black cording or other trim. kyoto animate This might be another possibility, tho the colors seem a bit bright? saverne multi However, if you decide for sure you want a floral, take a look at this one - the pattern feels smaller, and seems to be closer together so the black isn't quite as strong: rice licorice Whatever you choose, I would also make at least one neckroll or other pillow to put on the couch, to bring some of the color there as well. Or, add some black and gold trim to the pillows that match the couch.

Oooooooooh, dover, that denim wingback is good! Sooooo goooood! Dang I want one now, lol. I agree with becky... No way can a wingback chair really look "too casual." Same with a Chesterfield. You could cover a Chesterfield sofa in dark indigo denim, and it would still be pure awesomeness, even in Buckingham Palace. And should it be a solid color denim and what color? The darker, the more formal. Solid, too. If you go with a lighter denim, or a denim with a pattern (stripe, plaid, embroidery), it gives a more casual vibe to me. [Disclaimer: I am not a pro.
