I wouldn't think they'd be too hard to find, the last couple of years I do recall even walmart or Cdn tire carrying them in their seasonal garden centres. Or, call a few nurseries and see if they will be carrying them this spring.

I have all kinds of ideas. I should say that I am searching for a place to purchase the fixtures, not what type should I buy. Thanks for pointing out that clarification was needed.

Say you buy a kitchen sink online. It arrives and you set it in the kitchen for the plumber to install. .... plumber opens the box and says it is cracked and gives you back your sink. If you are going to buy online, have a storage area for the stuff you are buying to keep it out of the way of the workers. And that box should have already been opened. Was it the manufacturer, shipper, (right here, when it arrives, you OPEN the box and make sure it's the right model and undamaged) the electrician, drywaller, flooring installer, cabinet installer (none of these people touch your sink because it's out of the kitchen, except maybe the cabinet installer), or the plumber (only if she dropped it). ========= My agreement with tradesmen when I am providing the fixtures or tile (they provide the underpinnings of their choice) is this - problems that can be traced to materials are my hassle. Problems that are due to installation or their materials are theirs. And I check with them before ordering a brand new to me. If they say they've had problems with it before, I don't order that brand.
