What color hutch; distressed white or black? Bright white cabinets.

I have a large long kitchen with bright white thermafoil cabinets in one end and bright white trim throughout the house. We recently added a rustic red island with a thick rich brown distressed cherry top which we LOVE. In the other end of the kitchen we want to order the Sadie hutch which is a unique looking amish built hutch. I had been thinking to have this done in black with a brown rub through, but the antique white is also attractive. My floors are a honey oak color and I currently have a darker brown oak pedestal table - I have been thinking about painting the table distressed black, but I'm only playing with that thought. Definitely eclectic. My question is, will antique white look OK with the rest of the white in the kitchen or would black be better. The walls are being painted Manchester tan and all the hardware is oil-rubbed bronze. I can try for some pics later, but the size of the room make it difficult to show. Thanks much for any thoughts.
