Well, thanks for the update, I guess I'll have to just try something new, seems I don't have a choice. The color of Blue Pearl was just perfection in my book, wonder if the Titan series you mentioned is the same (BP had no red tone whatsoever, which is why I love it). Why did the fools discontinue seed production? Blue Pearl was a constant top seller in my area!!

Here are 2 pictures of the problem spots. What is this and what can i do about it. it grows twice as fast (if not more) then the surrounding grass, and it seems to get bigger every year. (there are just 2 small spots, i have a pretty big area of this in one corner)

With that height and form and late season bloom, I'd guess they were a type of orienpet hybrids, sometimes sold as "tree lilies". But there are dozens of very similar looking cultivars so can't get very specific as to ID. Most of the better lily specialty nurseries carry them: B&D Lilies, The Lily Pad, The Lily Flower Store, Brent and Becky's, etc.

Ok, sounds like they aren’t as bad as I thought. That makes me feel better. Now I can assume that most guests won’t be eyeing up my uneven curtains when they’re here. I told you I had a finicky brain! As far as the rod placement. I’ve hung them 6” out from the window, would you go even wider??? And if I do will that look funny so close to the tv console? No filter photo for you, Saturday morning cartoons :). And would doubling the curtains up on each side lend to a more formal look? I’d like to keep it nice and airy and casual in this room. The adjoining rooms are a kitchen and morning room and there are no curtains in those rooms.
