Comments (8)As apple pie said, your rug is the focal point, so for window treatments I would do a border drape…off white and preferably brown border if you can find the right tone. That will bring a darker color down to meet the rug…you find better than this…but it is the idea.. Maybe just two small lumbars on the sofa, but at the arms not the back were there is already lumbar support. Off white and brown chairs…from Anthropologie. Last a chunky fab throw for the sofa. .....See MoreHelp with designing living room with accent chair and cubed ottomans
Comments (29)Without seeing the kitchen and why your DH wants gray, I say the one on the far right. The strong contrast in the gray would take over the room and I think would fight the rug. The ivory give you pattern, but you can still see the rug and they balance each other. I had been thinking blue, but I like the cream or ivory and that keeps that light feel. Blue would have to be balanced with some other weight in the room or I think they would be too heavy too. You might find something like the ivory but with a pattern in blue (not too much) as a compromise? But let's see what's in the kitchen.........See MoreHelp! Need help with livingroom chairs/design
Comments (13)I have better photos, but they are not uploading.... room is approximately 21x15 ft. Part of the problem is, our house is really small. The livingroom is the only open area for the kids to play... so we want to keep it more open. Also, the open space between the pony wall and other loveseat is the walkway to the kitchen/dining room. Hubby doesn't like a sofa in front of the window, and we still need a walkway to the front door and the hallway, which is beside of the accent wall. I will keep trying to upload better pics. The picture window is 10 ft....See MoreNeed help with living room design- ACCENT CHAIRS
Comments (6)A natural colored performance fabric chair. You don't want a sea of dark leather. The space is tight so you will have to be very mindful of scale and size. I would not choose something with a bulky arm as it is going to take up visual space and make the room feel cramped. Is the TV console on the left staying where it is? What does the other side of your room look like? I would like to see if there is any opportunity for a better layout....See MoreRelated Professionals
