Was just looking at an image of a white hard-cane Dendrobium, then image got deleted. If that is the orchid it is better grown under-potted in a pot because of the cane length on mature plants. Better candidates for mounting are compact growers or those with a creeping growth habit.

I used this one (Miky by Nameeks in the Scarabeo line) because it is 15.8 inches x 12 inches. It worked well is my 22 inch wide vanity. 6 inces deep and that is deep enough I find. The base price is for white which I got, but it looks like you can use the color "Pergamon" and double the price to about $600 (!). I really like the sink. It's Italian and for European sinks my Italian countertop installer told me the overflow is in the back under the faucet not in the front like they are in the US. I like the idea of the three posted by k9arlene better. I think the two things from Hokku are not as good together as they are separately, and the bookcase, while attractive, is "a lot of look" for the space. The Ikea triplets are compatible with your scheme, and you could use any of the three colors they come in. Then a tall lamp toward the corner, like the ones below from Overstock, and a container of some kind beside it to collect mail and keys and the like under the pair of shelves. And to balance the whole wall, a large framed graphic under the high shelf - perhaps a piece of Marimekko fabric, a square of wallpaper, or a reproduction of one of Josef Albers' color studies? Because the space is low, an actual image or a mirror would be problematic, since the center wouldn't be at eye level if you're older than eight ... I like the piece of art you have in the dining area of the last photo. I think maybe we should retreat to your original dilemma which was about how to display all your stuff. As before, I still suggest you divvy it up so it isn't all vying for our attention. Do you have storage bins under your bed? That's always a good idea for storing excess. Most of the decor items seem to be white ceramic and a few gold/brass pieces. If you want to utilize the window space, I would limit it to the two upper windows that appear as though they have shelves built in. The twisted gold piece and your other twisted white ceramic piece are both large enough to be seen well from those two locations. Separate hard and soft cover books. If you have enough hard covers to do the job, start with the tallest ones that will fit in the long cabinet openings and supplement with shorter ones. If you can manage to do all hard covers, that is a better choice than soft covers, but you can mix both if you have to. Can you get a 3rd bookshelf for the dining side of the column and style it in a similar fashion to the other ones?
