I think you will find that they have moved on a lot with their design now. Be wary of the ones with very little detail as you will no doubt be on your own if it goes wrong.

For your mini peninsula, using option 2, it offers a larger surface area, potentially accommodating two seats side by side, which would maximise the use of space without the area feeling cramped. If you prefer a narrower 616mm worktop to save space, consider seating one person at the end and one on the side; however, this arrangement might feel tighter and less comfortable for seating two people. Instead of traditional legs, which could obstruct seating space, a central support pole or a cantilever design could offer stability while keeping the area underneath clear, enhancing both aesthetics and practical use. Integrating additional functionalities like a bin or extra storage underneath would be a great way to utilise the space efficiently, especially since you lack wall cupboard space.

For your new bedroom layout, keeping the entrance angled as shown in the plan is a smart choice. This angled entry helps facilitate easier movement and furniture placement within the corridor space, making it practical without compromising the flow of the room. For the walk-in wardrobe, a depth of around 60-70 cm is typically sufficient for hanging clothes without feeling too cramped, and utilising the left corner for shelving is an efficient use of space. This configuration allows you to maximise storage while maintaining an accessible and organised wardrobe. Installing a sliding door for this wardrobe can save space and enhance the functionality of the room, aligning well with your overall design vision.
