I have to commend you on your faith in the Houzz community. I have no idea on what countertop you should go with, but your guests will have very pleasant accommodations.
What color is your bathroom floor tile? Need to know that before people will be able to help you.
Looks like maybe a LFT gray tile peeking out from under the protective overlay?
If i am correct, I think a Carrara marble countertop would be pretty. My guest bathroom has a charcoal slate herringbone floor + white vanity - and am using this tile (similar to your tile in color - but a v4 shade variation and no crackle):
My polished Carrara countertop in my guest bathroom has been used a lot more than planned due to a long, drawn out master bathroom renovation - and it still looks great.
Your tile is so gorgeous. I would let it be the star of your bathroom. I would go with a very neutral vanity counter.
Stopped by to drop our exterior garage lights that I had to order from Amazon because the set I chose is on backorder and not in yet 😒.
The can lights are all in, all floor tile is done, they were working on the shower tile when I got there. I noticed that they put quartz in the laundry room, it was supposed to just be a wood top. I'm fine with it as long as it's not gonna cost us extra. 🤷🏽♀️
I also finally got to see the vent hood cover paint and I like it (it matches the island on the not-brick side). It adds a pop of color to break up the beige everywhere.
The microwave is in, the dishwasher and vent insert are there but not installed yet.
While ya'all bogged down with finishing decisions I'm bogged down in the Big Muddy agin.
Four-wheel drive no match for the Wetlands.
To the Rescue...again.
Clear!
Another C$600 well spent!
@2rickies I love those stones. They are similar to our Blue Ijen. (Probably same stone, different label.) We love it. I will say, leathered marble stains and etches more easily than polished because leathering sort of "makes pores". Leathered quartzite won't etch, but since our polished quartzite can absorb water/oil, what will leathering do?
AC I am so glad you went back to the Taj!
