LOL

One of us has two beautiful, properly installed TZ sinks and one of us is ranting about a failed installation instead of doing what very obviously (to everyone else) needs to be done.

Good luck to you.

"TOP ZERO WAS THE ONE THAT PUT THIS GLUE OVER THE EDGE OF THE SINK" But it sounds like whoever they are sending is not that competent. Or they were trying to fix an installation problem. I don't think this is standard practice, I've always seen the top edge exposed.

I'd say my TZ is about 1/16 below the surface of the sink. But even in the image you posted, the top edge of the sink is exposed. That is just how it is supposed to be. I have two and I love them.

Did your installer do the training? All the information he needs to do it right should be there. Plus, according to my installer, it's really not that complicated. So maybe your installer isn't skilled enough to execute the installation? In any case, if there is a failure it is due to improper installation and I think expecting TZ to send someone on their own dime to walk your installer through the process is not realistic.

Just have your guy do the training and make it right. Or call someone who has more experience with TZ to fix the mess. Once it is in correctly it won't fail and you will love it. I highly recommend TZ sinks and would do it again in a heartbeat because it looks great and is truly unique. As you know since you wanted it. You're just going to have to get over the hump here, even if it costs you a little extra to get there. Don't snap at people who are trying to help you.

As I mentioned before, I started this thread prior to buying it because there was very very little info about these sinks at the time, and I was doing my research. Now I have two TZ and I love them. My experience has been the polar opposite of yours.

When I bought mine, I was warned that I need to have a really good fabricator for this product to work, so I did a lot of due diligence before hiring one. There is no margin for error and it looks like your cutout is not precisely made to fit this sink.

I'm not sure why you are ranting here. If you want help, two people are trying to help you. If you are just here to rant, mission accomplished.

And no, I do not work for TZ. Just because someone likes a product doesn't automatically mean they work for the company who makes it. lol

"Thank you Joseph but they are owned by Top Zero here no?"

Replace My Sink is owned by Bradley Prescott, not TopZero. If they are affiliated, it would be news to me.

F L:

I've installed quite a few Karran 540 sinks, but several years ago, one I installed experienced a delamination issue. It was Karran's problem, but I ate it which is what a reputable fabricator/installer does. Post your cutout dimensions and I'll let you know if one will work; they're great sinks as are properly installed TZs.

@pinkysonpatki6 - I have two heights of vanities. One was custom made by my father and it is shorter - its a box mounted on the wall. Its for a half bath. My other vanities are all the same height but mounted at different heights so the tops of the sinks are at counter height. All of my vanity sinks are different heights. Anywhere from a tall vessel to medium to low height ”drop in” to a regular ”drop in”. If all of my sinks were the same then each cabinet would have been mounted with the top at the same height on the wall. You don’t want a tall vessel mounted on a counter height cabinet as it very cumbersome to wash your hands, brush your teeth etc unless you are tall and I am not. I just measured the height of the top of the sinks in two of my baths downstairs and the top of the sinks are 37” above the floor. - a little more than counter height.

If I had to pick a number it would be 9 inches minimum.
