I agree with everyone else. Always primer on new drywall, 2 coats of paint on walls, if you are going very dark on any walls, then it will usually take 3 coats of paint. I wouldnt believe much that paint guy told me, after saying new drywall, doesnt need primer, especially since he also recommended Ben and thats a low grade paint.

Jeff, perhaps consider getting a quote for pro to paint just all ceilings and crown (if any). That will be money well spent and you can focus on all below.
Like the Moon Bay carpet pattern and would consider a beige or brown color. I like the second brown from top on right hand side, or the brown color below it. Think they would match paint & cab's. No more gray, ha ha - tired of gray.
In general, I suggest straying from dark carpet. It immediately can suck the life and light out of the room. Based on your selections, my favorite options are the following. However, I HIGHLY recommend you bring these swatches home to see how they read in the natural light of your bedroom. What reads as super warm or cool in these pictures could be totally different in real life.
- Champagne Fizz
- Soft Pine (this one might be too yellow?)
- Warm Sand
- Topaz
- Timber Ridge
Soft Pine.
