I would certainly use what you have. How about switching the console from behind the sofa to that wall and the smaller one to behind the sofa, where the scale might not be as noticeable. I think I would paint it solid black no distressing as your floors are already busy.
what is that last gray green square tile? I think that could look good. depends on the "in person"
way it looks though. it looks good w the stainless frames around the hood without being actually gray. do that one!!!
I would do it in the same white as your trim and bring in color with the decor items on the bookshelves. Having it match the trim will give you the flexibility to easily change up the wall and bedding colors as trends change or you get bored with what you have.
I agree with Chispa. The same white as your trim. Are you planning on draperies. You do need a bit of color and pattern in there.
In my neck of the woods , commissions were not negotiable. Not a coincidence that the lawsuit originated in my area . Also I find it interesting that other countries commission percentages are usually much lower .
I agree that there is something wrong about the layout in the dining area.
Divide the dining from the living with a tall tree
You have room for a sideboard with art and buffet lamps above.
Curve the walkway and expand the width at the driveway
I don’t mind the wall color but think your space could use some additional color and textures by way of sofa pillows and accessories on the bookcase. I like the bookcase but not crazy about it being off centered from the dining table. I’d suggest finding a new home for the mirror and cabinet below it, and the moving the bookcase so it is centered with the dining table. You have nice things on the bookcase but they seem to be place uniformly on the shelves. Try moving some items closer together and adding in a couple of pops of color.
When you have fixed elements on a house like brick or in your case the tan metal roof that is where you start with a color scheme. So in your case you could do a mossy sage green for the siding, linen white trim, and your black windows.
