Oh I am sad to hear you don't like the floors. I love the color you have. And I would pick the rails wood as close to the floors as possible.

But...get the floors you love. Redo the floors so you can enjoy the space.

If you are going to have a wood handrail would suggest you match as closely as you can to the wood flooring.

The floor pictured above doesn't look much different than the ones the OP posted.

It seems as if you must be present in the space to determine the color and what could be done.
