I like either Moire Black and Charcoal Black for your house. I don't see a great variation in color.

Oh goodness! You sound like me last week! I had the headsets time deciding be the two also. Ended up doing the Charcoal Max Def, since I know they fade and I have seen the Moure Max def in person and sometimes it’s looks too gray. Our house is also in direct sunlight, so I didn’t want that. Hopefully you were able to decide and love whatever color you chose!

I just wanted to post this here for future reference. We used Certainteed Moire Black standard shingles. In some light it's looks like a soft black and in other light, it looks like a dark gray. Either way, we love it!

I am a contractor in Northern Virginia. By far, Charcoal Black is a more popular color in the architectural shingles & Moire Black in the standard 3-tab. Charcoal Black is darker Glad you are happy with your choice
