I'm always going for a furniture look too. Clasps look cool but are a PITA.
How wide are your drawers? Depending on the width of your drawers, I'd get 12 knobs. I'd do two knobs per drawer (8 knobs total) plus four more knobs total to cover the middle and top doors.
Although you want a furniture look, having an additional section of uppers, and glass doors too really make the piece look much more like kitchen cabinetry. I'd personally do the larger doors all the way to the ceiling.
Hard to tell the actual heights.
I would do one full panel for the large doors and then place the pulls where it works best ergonomically.
