We watched a few episodes and then Amazon crashed. The visual effects are impressive but essentially it's a computer quest game made into a movie There's a lot of stylized comic book violence and some very obvious tropes from other genres like westerns, Lord of the Ringsy stuff, sci fi, etc. Not really much depth of plot. Amazon is back up now but we'll probably not be interested enough to go back to it.

Yeah, wool is doing fine. It dipped a bit in the early 2000's, but it's been stable with increases for over a decade. The bigger difference is how the wool is being used. After a drop in the 90's apparel wool has kept declining. Less demand, so less is being made. Interior wools have increased a lot and far overtaken apparel wool.

Back in my artistic roller skating days I was cast as a roller skating nun and villager in the production of SOM we did for a Gold Skate Classic. Hundreds of hand sewn spangles is what I still remember. Our habit reversed to villager and back again. We had to switch them in the dark and had less than two minutes to do so. Getting those wimples and veils on was an experience. Thank goodness for the costume makers making them in one piece. Fun times. Coach was going through a Disney phase. We did Cinderella the following year I believe.

I know that it is "well-heeled". It's a typo and lack of proofing, not a malapropism.

And I think most other readers in this particular forum also realize it is "well-heeled".

It is a reality TV show. None of it and I mean none is real. If you enjoy the show great because they are on board so no feelings hurt but I cant imagine any real feelings. Remember he lied to you about his forlorn life all alone after his wife's death. Who does that for real? I wouldn't know any of this if not for reading about this here as I dont follow these shows and it was an interesting dive into the genre. I am all about learning new stuff. Soap? I get the fun and all but I cant take this seriously. Yell at me if you must.

"My default is to disbelieve, not believe"

The police didn't believe a woman I knew or didn't care when a boyfriend broke her arm. She tried to file charges but they just took away his guns, and gave them back a week later. I started dating her a few months later and he kept calling her nonstop to come and visit him but I convinced her it was dangerous and she never did, thank god.
A few months later the guy Shoots and killed his new girlfriend who was leaving him and then shot himself. My girlfriend was traumatized and left me because how could she trust any man? I left her alone and a few months later we reunited and married in 1996.
The Victim's name was Jennifer Noack, and the killer's name was Duane F. Arbuckle, it happened in Crystal MN on October 16, 1993.
The only reference I could find was in the Minnesota Coalition for Battered Women.
"Jennifer Noack, 23 Crystal October 16, 1993. Jennifer was shot and killed by her boy friend,Duane F. Arbuckle, who then shot and killed himself. Jennifer had just started a
graduate program at the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire and worked in the Twin
Cities on weekends. She was breaking up with Arbuckle and had gone to his apartment
to pick up some belongings. When she didn't show up for work on Saturday morning the police were called."

Elmer, I'm not judging you on your comment but 1 in 3 women have faced some type of Physical violence by a partner and a claim of abuse should always be believed by default.

I would go to my own account and change the passcode and not rely on an email or text. You don't know if the notice you received is legitimate even if it looks "real." I occasionally receive similar emails that are spam. When in doubt, log into your account - not from a link in an email or text, and confirm.

I (being a non-resident, and sorta glad of that) am wondering whether, were I possibly affected, I'd be glad or sad if I were to hear that it was, after all, a joke related to April 1.

Oh, right, it's not April 1, yet.

ole joyful
