Yes, I very much like the Kohler cast iron shower bases. They look good, and you just don't have to worry about them cracking or not being built correctly, as is the case with a built up shower base.

Jake, and I think that was your recommendation to me earlier. I appreciate your input. I forget if I already had the other pan on order or was still trying to cheap out but I had to try the so-called upscale acrylic and am thankful it cracked BEFORE I installed it.
