Don't discount Corian.

Don't discount oak butcher block countertops either.

Your floors are lovely! Are the paint chips the color of the walls? I like the darkest blue one. I agree with the white countertops, but I think I would get a bit of reddish brown in the veining. Or a gold. Very light veining. I would need to see the grey you are talking about next to the flooring, but I feel a reddish brown or gold would bring out the red in the oak.

Would the lantern be installed over the spot where the address plaque is currently? You could install a backplate for the lantern and that would cover where the address had been.

I see two solutions. One is to get new, very deep nightstands. Those might not be hard to find - you could use a desk or small set of drawers. If you like what you have, you could also purchase a silk tree to put behind the current nightstand. That will still allow you to see the beautiful wall behind the headboard, keep the current nightstands, and will hide the cords. You could also put a small upright on the trees for some different lighting at nighttime.

fj1986 - I have a similar dilemma with my new home and sofa. I need much deeper tables, chests, whatever. I’m going to look at vintage because sometimes old furniture was huge. That may not help you because you have a contemporary aesthetic. Good luck to you, though!
