Pink, no. as soon as it is dry you can wax. go easy w/the wax. if you use to much it gets really tacky. put a coat of wax on and wait for it to dry a bit before buffing. you'll know if it's not dry when your rag sticks to it while buffing. very annoying.
you can also do a poly, or even a tung oil if you don't want to wax.
