It reminds me a lot of one I posted three years ago. I like yours more!

Such a pertty quilt, Sue. I'm sure your friend will think it worth the wait. I love Asian-inspired fabrics too. Some years ago there was a nearby LQS that specialized in them, but, sad to say, they closed several years ago.
Lois, If that's the shop you took me to, I'm sure I still have some of the fabric I bought from them. What an awesome store. I think they closed not too long after we were there, didn't they?
Sue, Great lanterns. I don't think I've seen lanterns done this way. It's a fantastic pattern to use those large print Asian fabric.
The thought that girls cannot attend school because they have their periods was unbelievable to me until several years ago when I saw an Academy Award winning documentary about it. I now donate monthly to The Pad Project, a non-profit that helps build simple machines that produce sanitary pads and are run by women in developing countries. We are so lucky to live when and where we do.
Really worthwhile project, Sue.
DD#2 sews for a group called ’Days for Girls’. I am pretty sure it is an international organization. They make washable pads for girls in third world countries where school is a no-no during ’that time of month’.

So good to see you Sharon. I was just thinking yesterday how much I missed you. I hope you are well.

Another nice finish, Theresa. I don't see where you weren't as careful as you should be, looks great!
Sharon sorry to hear about DH, glad he's on the upswing and you all recovered from covid. How many great grands will the addition in November make? That website you linked has some really cute patterns!
We are stuck for 5 days at Stanial Cay in Bahamas, some big winds heading our way soon...
Char, The November great-grandbaby will be number 20, Our first great-grand is 23 and her partner has 3 children. I decided the other day that I'll be counting them as great-great-grands. lol
Theresa, I love this idea! I am making some charity quilts and this will be a good idea.
I like them offset. Thanks!!
Sue
What a great idea to launch all those fabrics together! I don't see anywhere that you would have a problem. It looks great! I have always tried to keep the fabric scraps of the same type together. Christmas, batik, novelty.......thanks for the idea!
