I own a cornufe 110 and have been cooking on it for four years. I am Netherlands based so forgive my english. I just love my range. Mine is stainles steel and looks gorgeous. The burners work and look beautiful and I use the french plate every day. I cook my meat and soup and then let it simmer on the french plate till it is done. Also the ovens perform very well and i use both ovens equally. The right oven i use for everything and the left multifunctional oven i use for precise baking. The whole appliance is very sturdy and the doors feel like a vauIt. I am very pleased with the black gas caps as they are still like new after four years of daily cooking for my family of four. It is a really beautiful range and of very very good quality. I never had any issues with it. It is easy to clean and realy still looks like new.
IMO grilling is best done outside always and you can buy a griddle that spans 2 burners for less tha $50 and I have one I use on my gas range often with great results I sure do not think it is an addon I would ever do for myself or my clients . I live in canad grill outside all the time in the winter I do not love the smell of grilled meat permeating the whole house even with a fabulous venting system. There are a ton of good choices for gas ranges is that what you lost ?
Buy a really great griddle pan .......sits right over the burners. ......and an easy peasy clean up!
