Would you consider a long runner instead and adding two pendants as well will create a much nicer feel.
A practical alternative are vinyl runners.

Get a 2. 5 ' x 8' runner. It need not be in the "bath" category, as long as washable or cleanable.
It's NINE feet of vanity and you want it covered.......you will have six inches exposed at either end.
Machine wash, comes 2.5 x 8
