How about moving the dining room table to where your couch now sets?

I like sofa angled. I could get 2 chairs to put at either end of sofa..one recliner, maybe smaller chair on other end. Is the window area too empty or is it me trying to fill in too much?

I think if you remove the valance and put two straight panels on each side of the window that will fill the space. Scoot the tv over to the left a little. Plus the new recliner will be larger and it can be turned a little to the left so it looks almost straight on to the tv. The floor lamp can be moved up a bit next to the new recliner. I think it is looking good. A recliner and another smaller chair would be great.
