Janna, the Muse collection looks stunning! I don't think it was around when we were selecting our floors. We've had our floors for almost a year and no issues. One time I dropped my heavy iron on the floor and it did make a little dent, but otherwise we are very happy. Good luck!

We have mirage engineered maple nougat and absolutely love it. No issues since installed about 10 years ago.
Thanks so much, the reviews for Mirage are so mixed. We were considering Mirage vs. DuChateau
Got it…black windows could help with ”balance.”
Most important is YOU approve.👍🏻
To your questions specifically about the porch, I'd add one slender urn situated in front of the far left glass panel with a fern, or other shade loving plant in it. Nothing too big as you don't want to reduce the porch area. But, just this little touch of green on the porch will help connect it visually to the grassy and planted area on the right.
I suggest azalea bushes. There are pics below from Pinterest. Get some color in there.
I would leave the current box hedge but cut it down to about 10 inches. Thereafter I'd keep it clipped at about a foot high. Behind the box I'd put a single, white, evergreen azalea or rhododendron with a mature height the same as the window sill.
I'd also have a proper path that you can wheel a barrow along rather than the stepping stones and hard to maintain grass.
I agree with Norwood Architects, a Dwarf Gold Mop Cypress for year-round interest. It should only get about 3-4 feet tall and wide and won't block your window. You could fill in the outer edge with annuals or a ground cover.
