I lived in the apartment after I installed the Lotus Clove Lions flooring for about 4 months. I loved it. I used to make fun when they called it 'LUXURY' vinyl flooring. Living with it changed my mind. I like the texture and the look of it and I could see it in the near future replacing real wood in higher end homes... they just need to deal with the repeat pattern problem of LVP. Seeing the same knot over and over is distracting.
Now, I'm back in my unit with the engineered oak floors and I can say without a doubt that the Lions LVP wears out socks at an incredible rate. I have to wear support socks when I work out and a pair of new $70 socks had holes in a week walking on LVP. On the slicker oak floors my sock do not wear out. That wood texture that looks so good in raking sunlight is very abrasive.
We just installed lions floor. So far so good. I am loving the long wide planks! We went with sequoia! We wanted more of a rustic feel.
