GLS, no the art is framed and still sitting on the floor. I am planning on hanging it this weekend. I was waiting until I painted but have decided that 50% finished is good enough! And also about typical for me lol

Not sure your swivel will be much used for tv viewing? Unless it is pulled more towards the front of fireplace? That window corner is such a unique small space on its own in that corner.

Dsimber, I understand your points about location of wing chair. But I agree with what Alice stated above. Wing chair in corner makes it less imposing than out in the open near DR. And I can picture it with your art next to whatever shelf/console you decide on for that wall. Just creates its own cozy corner. The taller chair height also adds interest to the room. Lower swivel might look dwarfed in the corner and TV viewing wouldn’t be optimal even if swiveled. I just keep thinking you have some very nice pieces that you shouldn’t discount.

Haha! Happy to be of service. I recall these various furniture layout options. I generally think sofas and chairs are best, most flexible options especially in smaller spaces as yours. A sectional would also seat fewer people. A common unexpected problem people find out. I can’t wait to replace my sofa/chaise since our needs have changed. It was great in my dreams for our young grandsons but they ended up preferring the floor! 12 years later I want a condo size purple velvet sofa! Found the perfect one but the legs don’t come off so i can’t get it in through these doors! Super bummer so I understand the sofa selection dilemma! But it will come when it’s suppose to! I just feel you need to stay light and airy for sofa and super comfortable especially with your back issues. Warmth and color can easily be added with chair treatments and accessories. Lots of textures layered in but simple to keep that Hygge effect you love. Practical when placing in next home too. So a good strategy to consider. I think we turned a big corner today in our new place. Had my handyman here all morning and I am breaking a lot of rules to be able to repurpose most of what we kept. We are already feeling really good here so very good thing that! The greater privacy and feeling of safety is an unexpected blessing!

Hey, you can get everything at Walmart these days! I held a grudge against them when they first came on the scene but I have gotten over it. Actually Actually, i look for lots of stuff at Amazon. Especially Especially, if I find something specific somewhere, I can sometimes find it there with free returns. Pretty sure I looked for covers there and found nothing. Keep us posted. ❤️

Quilted polyester was my first choice actually but have not found complete cover with tight surround in a thick type of that. May be one like that out there to be found but unaffordable for us. So stretchy velvet here we go! Then….I thought of an ugly stretchy protecter underneath a quilted partial cover like the ones we first posted that I really so I get the better look I want? The plot thickens!
