Nice room. I have giraffe long legs and get the need for depth. Does your store have these to try out? If they have a chair to try instead of the sofa is that a close enought approximation?
The Danvers and Emilio have a seat depth of just half an inch shorter than the architect's sofa, they sit upright instead of tilting back. They are 87" long so you could have two of them as you have now.
The Danvers has a rolled arm like on your current sofa, but on a much more petite scale, which I find more sympathetic to your contemporary ceiling and dining furniture than the September.
The Emilio takes you to more of a squared off aesthetic, like the architect's sofa, but with lower arms.
I like both styles, I will check with stores that carry H&M to see if these styles are on their floor. Both sofas have the high back too with removable cushions which I also want.
I like the idea of two sofas the same length so there's enough seating room. I agree with you the Danvers and Emilio sofas would be look much better than the September sofa in our living room.
