People, people, people....there are trends/fads in everything. And if you decorate the way that you want for YOUR practicality and YOUR taste then who cares whether it is a trend, fad etc.? Example: I dislike granite. When doing my bathroom remodel a few years ago, I didn't want it. Everyone told me I was making a huge mistake, that's what buyers want, blah, blah, blah...I didn't care, put in Caesarstone (which I love) and guess what? Now people are saying that granite is going "out" and quartz countertops are increasing in popularity! But I really don't care one way or the other. They fit my needs and I love the way the look in our bathroom. It's always good to get new ideas and read the comments shared but honestly go with what works for you and what you love!

I was keen on having a barn door between kitchen and befroom, but the kitchen layout changed, and there's no longer room on the wall to slide open. I'm fine with that. I guess I must be over barn doors.

I think they're hideous and will show up on one of those 'outdated trend' list very soon.
